On January 25, 2021, California Health and Wellness was notified by its vendor Accellion that its file transfer platform was compromised by hackers. An investigation revealed that hackers had access to individuals’ full names, dates of birth, home addresses, insurance ID numbers, and protected health information, including medical conditions and treatment.
