$25 Million Settlement in Auto Lights Case Approved by Court

Stueve, Siegel, Hanson LLP, together with its co-lead counsel Robbins, Geller, Rudman & Dowd LLP; Labaton LLP and Hausfeld LLP, obtained final approval of a $25 million settlement with the last remaining defendant in the In re Aftermarket Automotive Lighting Products Antitrust Litigation, pending in the Central District of California.  The case alleged defendants conspired to fix the prices of aftermarket auto lights, such as headlights and taillights, sold in the United States. 

Settlements obtained for the Class by SSH in this case total more than $53 million.

This multidistrict litigation combined several lawsuits and the claims of direct purchasers of the automotive lights in the United States.  The Court appointed Stueve Siegel Hanson Partner Jason Hartley co-lead counsel in 2009.
