Stueve Siegel Hanson’s Patrick Stueve Named Among Law360’s “MVPs of the Year”

11.29.2018

The MVP awards go to attorneys who have secured “hard-earned successes in high-stakes litigation, complex global matters and record-breaking deals,” according to Law360. The publication received nearly 1,000 submissions for the 2018 edition and ultimately selected 162 lawyers in 35 practice areas.

Stueve – the only Kansas City area attorney to be recognized – is recognized in the category of Food & Beverage. His 2018 accomplishments include the negotiation of a $1.51 billion settlement with Syngenta; Stueve served as co-lead and class counsel in multidistrict litigation, where he represented eligible corn farmers, grain handling facilities and ethanol production facilities in claims involving genetically modified corn. If approved, this would be the largest agricultural settlement in U.S. history.

Recently recognized as a Best Lawyers in America “Lawyer of the Year” for bet-the-company litigation, Stueve has prosecuted claims against some of the largest companies in the world. He has worked on behalf of small businesses and members of the Fortune 500, litigating matters in the areas of antitrust, intellectual property, securities fraud and other commercial torts.

As a 2018 MVP, Stueve will be profiled individually by Law360 in the coming weeks. More information about the honor is available here. (Subscription required.)
