04.23.2014

Stueve Siegel Hanson LLP, together with Donelon, PC and Marlin & Saltzman, LLP, have reached a $73 million settlement on behalf of current and former Bank of America retail banking and call center employees. The lawsuit alleged that Bank of America failed to pay those employees for all hours worked including overtime in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and applicable state law.

The multidistrict litigation combined 27 underlying lawsuits and more than 185,000 potential plaintiffs in the U.S. District Court in Kansas City, Kansas.  The Court appointed Stueve Siegel Hanson LLP as plaintiffs’ co-lead and liaison counsel in 2010.
