George Hanson to Speak at NELA Conference

06.10.2016

Partner George Hanson will present at the National Employment Lawyers Association’s (NELA’s) 2016 Annual Convention in Los Angeles, June 22-25. George will speak on “Planning for a Wage & Hour Trial – Starting with Discovery.” Specifically, George and the other distinguished speakers on his panel will focus on representative evidence, use of experts, damage models, and jury selection in wage and hour trials.

George brings a unique perspective to the NELA convention. At his previous firm, George represented and defended large companies in Kansas City and nationally. Today, in addition to complex commercial litigation, George's practice currently focuses on the representation of employees in large wage and hour class and collective actions, including workers in the financial services, telecommunications, pharmaceutical and call center industries. In the past 14 years, George has been lead or co-lead counsel in more than 100 wage and hour actions filed in state and federal courts across the country. George was a Senior Editor of the most recent edition of the ABA’s “Fair Labor Standards Act”—the leading treatise in the field. George is also a frequent speaker regarding trial practice and wage and hour matters nationwide.
