Genworth Financial Data Breach Lawsuit

Genworth financial data breach
On June 22, 2023, Genworth filed documents with the Securities and Exchange Commission disclosing a third-party data breach affecting between 2.5 and 2.7 million consumers. Genworth disclosed that the incident stemmed from a third-party vendor's use of the managed file transfer software, MOVEit.
The breach may have affected Genworth’s policyholders and insurance agents. Affected individuals are now at serious risk.
