Flo Health App Lawsuit Investigation - Unlawful Sharing of Women's Health Data
Stueve Siegel Hanson is investigating potential claims against Flo Health, Inc., the company behind the popular smartphone Flo Health App used by millions of women as an ovulation calendar, period tracker, and pregnancy guide.
On January 13th, the Federal Trade Commission announced that it had reached a non-monetary settlement with Flo Health over allegations that the company shared users’ sensitive health information with Facebook, Google, and other third parties, despite promising users that such information would remain confidential. By doing so, the company permitted these third parties to access Flo App users’ sensitive health data, including information about users’ periods and pregnancies, for advertising and product development purposes.
If you used or subscribed to the Flo App between June 2016 and February of 2019, please contact attorney Michael Owens at 816-714-7130 or fill out the contact form below.
