DC Health Link Data Breach Lawsuit Investigation
Stueve Siegel Hanson, a national leader in data breach and privacy cases, is investigating potential claims against DC Health Link, the health insurance marketplace for the District of Columbia, resulting from a data breach that exposed the medical information of potentially hundreds of thousands of individuals.
The stolen medical information was recently discovered being offered for sale on an online hacking forum. Although the exact number of victims is not currently known, the hacking forum claimed medical information belonging to 170,000 individuals was stolen.
