William Manson

Before joining Stueve Siegel Hanson, Will Manson worked in technology investing, where he led and co-led investments across a range of industries, including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, enterprise software and robotics. He participated in investment transactions totaling millions of dollars and developed a deep understanding of the business, financial and technological issues that often arise in high-stakes disputes. That experience gives him a practical perspective on how businesses evaluate opportunities, manage risk and make consequential decisions.

While earning his J.D. and M.S. in Finance from Penn State, Will gained experience in appellate advocacy, judicial decision-making and regulatory matters. As a member of the Civil Rights Appellate Clinic, he was part of a team that drafted amicus curiae briefs on behalf of organizations including the National Employment Lawyers Association and the National Institute for Workers’ Rights in cases before the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

Will also completed judicial externships with the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. Magistrate Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, as well as an externship with a boutique regulatory law firm in Washington, D.C. In 2023, he received the Professor Louis Del Duca Memorial Award in Business Law from the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Business Law Section, an annual honor recognizing academic excellence in business law among Pennsylvania law students.

Will is a member of the Missouri Bar Association and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association. Outside of his practice, he enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, and watching sports.
