$9.2 Million Recovered in Software Licensing, Trademark and Copyright Cases

In March 2009, Stueve Siegel Hanson settled two additional software licensing, trademark and copyright cases on behalf of Overlap Inc. a Kansas City-based software company against several national securities firms. We have recovered more than $9.2 million in licensing fees through trial or settlements. The client's software was installed on firm networks and/or made available to thousands of brokers without permission and without payment of licensing fees to the Kansas City software company.
