Bank of Oklahoma Settles Overdraft Fees Lawsuit for $19 Million

In 2010, Stueve Siegel Hanson, LLP, Gray Ritter & Graham, P.C., Tycko & Zavareei LLP, and Sneed Lang Herrold PC filed a lawsuit against Bank of Oklahoma, N.A. and BOK Financial Corporation alleging that the plaintiff, and other Bank of Oklahoma customers who are citizens of Oklahoma, were charged overdraft fees based on Bank of Oklahoma's unfair and deceptive overdraft fee practices. The lawsuit alleged that these practices violated Oklahoma's consumer protection law and Bank of Oklahoma's contracts with its customers.

On November 23, 2011, BOK Financial Corporation agreed to a $19 million settlement.
