A Crawford woman filed a federal lawsuit against the maker of Prempro, the hormone replacement pill on which clinical trials were halted last year because of health risks to women, Karen Abbott and Ellen Miller report in the Rocky Mountain News. The Kansas City, Mo., law firm behind the suit, Stueve Siegel Hanson Woody LLP, hopes it will become part of a class action, says Justin Prochnow, the Denver attorney who signed the complaint. Pennie Alexander said Prempro nearly killed her.
