OVERVIEW OF THE CASE AND ONGOING INVESTIGATION
Stueve Siegel Hanson LLP has filed an action against Sanofi - Aventis U.S. LLC alleging that employees did not receive wages and overtime pay as required by the federal Fair Labor Standards Act ("FLSA") and Missouri state law.
The case is "Qualls, et al. v. Sanofi - Aventis" Case No: 06-0435-CV-W-REL filed in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri.

The work duties that the Aventis workers at the Kansas City, Missouri facility allege that they have not been paid for include: (1) changing into the required sterile clothing and safety equipment that can include, among other things (depending on the task): sterile scrubs, transition shoes, protective jumpsuits, safety glasses, hair nets, beard guards and protective booties; and (2) walking to and from the changing area, work areas and break areas.
