Stueve Siegel Hanson is investigating the employment practices of companies employing insurance premium auditors. Premium auditors, particularly physical auditors, often work much more than 40 hours in a work week (including substantial time processing audits, driving between physical audit locations, and on other jobs), yet are not paid at all or not paid an overtime wage for hours worked in excess of 40 per week. Employers of premium auditors often classify their employees as exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). However, many premium auditors may not be exempt from the overtime requirements and may be entitled to additional compensation.
We would like to hear from you if you worked as an insurance premium auditor in the last three years, worked in excess of 40 hours a week, and were not paid overtime. Please complete the form below, or call us at 1-800-714-7173, to schedule a free consultation.
