DePuy/Johnson & Johnson Hip Recall Investigation

DePuy Orthopaedics, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, recalled its ASR XL Acetabular Hip in August 2010. The artificial hip is defective and has caused personal injury to many of its recipients. Symptoms include pain, swelling, stiffness, grinding, displacement and the need for replacement. The company is offering to the replace defective hips, but has not agreed to compensate patients for the immense amount of pain and suffering and emotional distress in receiving a faulty hip and the unbearable thought of going back through the surgical and recovery process. Even those patients who may not be currently experiencing symptoms have legal rights.

If you or someone you know has received a DePuy/Johnson & Johnson hip implant and would like further information to discuss your legal rights, please talk to the lawyers at Stueve Siegel Hanson.
